This phone is just perfect. The 4g speeds are incredible and it makes everything just so fast. The battery liife is ok just like any other android phone, you can just carry your charger. I love this phone, switching to Tmobile has been the smartest choice I've ever made.

As someone else said, when you get the phone initially it starts of good. But after awhile its terrible. It will freeze constantly, the apps will too and you have to force close them. The touch screen can be really unrepsonsive. Trying to like something on Facebook is a challenge. Everything moves extremely slow as well. You switch it to the side, that takes forever. You open up an internet tabb, that takes forever.Theres also times where Ill be uing it and itll freeze, make this random vibrate sound and then resume. Cant wait to upgrade this.Only redeeming feature is the keyboard

ok so I got this phone thionking hey this is brand new it has to be great. I was told there were minimal reports of problems with this phone and let me tell you that the phones software ended up being corrupted and in turn corrupted my sd card making me loose all of my pictures and video. Honestly I cant transfer anything from my phone except my numbers. I hate this phone and will be getting a different one.

I got this phone because it had the keyboard like the G1 and G2 once my G2 passed on. While it was okay in the beginning (September 2012) , almost like a switch it has become no good. It freezes, takes forever to load text messages, randomly shuts off, refuses to send or receive messages randomly (for as long as 24hrs), and has virtually no service in my apartment. Save your money for something better.

i purchased this phone about a year and a half ago.. it was the worst idea of my life. The phone is slow... really slow. It takes about 40 seconds to a minute to load ONE text message or my inbox. also it will say that messaging has failed and it will make tell me to "Force Close" on the inbox. It will also do the same thing on apps that you download or that it comes with. this is just overall a horrible phone and not worth the money.

i have had this phone for about a year and a half. it is slow, it randomly shuts off, it calls random people,it misses calls and more. i hate it. the camera is bad too and the battery is short.

I wont get my texts right away to the point me and my friends are talking about to different things because I havent gotten their last text and it freezes all the time its so annoying! getting this phone replaced asap

This phone has given me a lot of problems lately. The apps aren't that good. Also, I go over my data limit almost every month because I have to manually turn on/off my data and it's not very accessible. The camera is good and it can store a lot, over 500 photos for me. The most frustrating thing about this, at least for me, is it randomly won't receive texts for hours or days at a time. At least 5 separate times over the past few months, it won't receive ANY texts for about 48 hours. Battery life is okay, runs out very quickly while on WiFi.
Pros: volume level, great camera, memory, great for texting
Cons: buggy, hard to use, web browsing

If you want an incredibly slow phone that can only hold a charge when its asleep for 4 hours then get this one. Forget about the advertised 10 hours of battery life on the phone or whatever, I'm lucky to get 4 hours of battery life when its just sitting in my pocket. Also when I attempt to close an app, you push the physical home button on the phone, i press the button and the phone vibrates to show recognition that you pushed it, and then it will take about 30-45 seconds to actually close the app and take you to the home screen. Overall this is a very bad phone and I warn anyone out there considering this phone to not be cheap and to go get a samsung instead. BUYER BEWARE

This phone is the overall worst that I have owned. It is slow, randomly disconnects from my home wifi, resets itself when it turns back on the time is different and I can't see any incoming message I receive, if I send a message the conversation disappears altogether. It has never been dropped, and it has been well taken care of. LG needs a re-do.

The screen is small. Sometimes the screen goes out and you can't touch anything and then it freezes. At random times it likes to shut off while you are in the middle of browsing the web, on a call, or trying to send a text message.
The email app on here sucks. The way your apps are set up change randomly.
At first it was a good phone then it all started to go down hill.

This phone is so slow and laggy! Whenever I try to do something it takes at least 40 seconds to get to it and then theres a white or black screen that shows up for another 30 seconds or so and ends up having to "force close" another thing I didnt like about this phone was I wasn't able to recieve phone calls and text messages. I had people tell me all the time If i got their texts but I never recieved anything. I'm just a teenager and I spent my first paycheck on the phone but I was so disapointed. 2 months later I litterally want to throw this phone off a building. It is so frustraiting to be in a conversation with someone and suddenly stop recieving the texts. I hate this. This was so not worth it.

When it works properly,this phone is great but unfortunately it almost never works correctly.
Even Tmobile admits this phone is glitchy but they will not stop selling them.
The operating system is nothing but glitchy & problematic.

I had the original My Touch before receiving this phone. The first thing I noticed was that this phone was A LOT slower than my previous phone. I really do like the keyboard. This phone does it's job I suppose but it's just not my favorite phone. It sometimes deletes my applications shotcuts off of my screen which is annoying. Also when I got it, it came with all sorts of applications that I wish I could take off. I don't use any of them and they are just wasting space.

This was the first smart phone for both my husband and myself and we are very disappointed. I have had a lot more problems than my husband, but he has had issues with Google calendar and now with his e-mail.
My old Razor phone was more reliable than this one. I am on my 4th MyTouch Q phone (thank goodness I have the phone insurance) in just one year. The battery life is awful and needs charging almost daily. Phone calls are frequently dropped. If your phone is off and you receive a text message, the time of the text will show as the time that you turn on the phone, not the actual time it was sent. The screen blacks out immediately upon making a call making it impossible to use the number pad or even hang up the phone (exchange #1). I had problems with Google calendar not advancing to the next month; even the new replacement (exchange #2) had the same issue and wasn't resolved until the following month. Now the e-mail doesn't work and the replacement phone (exchange #3# will not allow me to even set up an e-mail account and no one can figure out why or is willing to accept the blame #cellular company, e-mail provider, or phone manufacturer). I have been round and round with all 3 companies and have spent HOURS trying to solve the problem. I have been unable to get e-mails on my phone for 2 1/2 weeks now. This was the main reason I purchased the phone.
Save yourself the hassle and don't buy this phone!

I've had my phone for about four months now and I love it! My main worry about getting a smart phone is that the battery life would be terrible but the battery life is pretty good on this phone and is a lot better than I ever expected. I can go a good day and a half maybe even two days without charging my phone (I know some people who can't go half a day without charging their smart phones) I also love all the features on the phone and the fact that everything is pretty easy to use. The camera takes great pictures and videos as well.
Pros: long battery life, touch screen, easy to use, great camera, WiFi, durable, keyboard, great screen, great web browsing, great for texting

I hated this phone! It is very slow and the battery life is not at all what i wanted it to be. This phone was very expensive and im still paying on it. DONT BUY! I bought this about 4 months ago and it already broke. Switching to different company.

This was my first android. I was so excited, and due to this I didn't really pay attention to its shortcomings when I first bought it. I bought it when I was on break from college, and when I went back is when I realized this phone I thought was amazing was actually horrible.

-constantly force closes
-constantly shuts off
-screen goes black during phone calls
-phone is laggy
-tad bulky
-touch screen is both sensitive and non-responsive at times
-resolution is not the worst but could be better
-delivers messages at random sometimes
The Only reason it has two stars is because i am satisfied when the phone does work properly, which is only about 25% of the time (and that is a generous amount). And it only works properly when i'm listening to music or recording something. With that being said, It's a nice phone if you don't do a lot with it. If you're like me, and you text, call, email, facebook, tweet, play games, and use other apps,like gps and things in which you need quick service, this is not a good investment. I was so tired of customer service telling me to constantly restart my phone and delete memory and blah blah blah. Sure, everything needs regular maintenance but sheeeeesh. to those who don't experience these issues count yourselves lucky!

Been an Android user for 3 years now, and I only got this phone as a replacement to the might MyTouch 4G Slide. This phone cannot even compare to it. It's single-core processing is atrociously slow, never get signal with this antenna, and it overall spends more time loading and freezing than anything else. It's unnecessarily bulky, small screen size for the overall size of the phone as well. Easily one of the worst, if not the worst, Android phones you can find on the market, and it truly is a disgrace that LG even designed and produced a phone as disappointing as this one is.
